Bucks are intact male goats, capable of breeding. Our two handsome bucks are permanently registered with the Pygora Breeders Association. Their fleece types, shown below, are explained on the Pygora Goats page. Since urinating on themselves is one way a buck attracts the does, their fiber may be shorn for their comfort, but it is discarded.
Wethers are bucklings who were castrated as kids. Our six wethers are big, sweet boys who can be shorn for fiber as well as providing companionship for the bucks.
BJ was born at Hollyhock Hollow. He is permanently registered with the PBA and his fleece has been classified as a Light Caramel "B".
BJ is very brave and very friendly, he loves to have his head scratched. He likes to stand at the fence-line and holler at the girls!

Cognac comes from Hawks Mountain Ranch. He is permanently registered with the PBA and his fleece has been classified as a Light Brown "C".
Cognac is very handsome and quite shy. He hangs out with Linus and prefers the girls to holler to him!
