THE DOES
Our Girls
It's somewhat difficult to get a good picture of a goat. They stick together, one mind set like a flock of birds, so to catch one in a photo by herself is tricky. It's also hard to get them to stand still! They want to come up and nibble and taste that funny box thing in my hand. After all, it might be something to eat!
During any given time of the year, a pygora goat can look quite different as their fleece is growing out after shearing. The pictures on this page will be the best I can get of each of the does and will show some in different stages.
Most all our does are permanently registered with the Pygora Breeders Association and are shown with their fleece colors and types. Fleece types are explained in detail on the Pygora Goats page.

Eleanor and Feather are Fiber Producing Machines!
These two girls have 'A' fiber so it must be shorn and it
can get quite long sometimes before I get to it.
I could probably shear Feather four times a year.
